Summary
Behaviour Change Techniques are the ‘active ingredients’ of activities that lead to behaviour change. These cards were developed by Lucie Byrne-Davis, Eleanor Bull and Jo Hart to help those who work with people to try to change their behaviour, and particularly for educators, trainers, leaders and those involved in organisational development, quality improvement or implementation. This was was funded by Health Education England

How to use the cards
- Read through and choose the activities you want to include.
- Deal out all the cards and take turns choosing a category (e.g., ease or online) and tell each other what the activities are. The person with the highest star rating wins the cards. The winner is the person who has all the cards at the end.
- Deal out all the cards. The first person puts down a card from their hand which would be a good way to start a training session. The others then offer the card in their hand that would be a good next activity. Other players can argue that their card offers a better next activity and the group can decide. The winner is the person who has used up their cards first.
