To make his life bearable he is only asking for a bed that he can fit in and a hoist suitable for his height (see full article as this one has missed what I see to be the most important part - how to solve this) - surely this can be achieved? Are there any manufacturers, able to make a specialist bed & hoist for him, or an engineering firm? If the cost is deemed too high I for one would donate towards it via crowd funding or similar. I can't understand how this has been allowed to happen, surely something suitable can be sourced/made. How sad that he feels he has no choice but to end his life because nobody has been able to find a suitable bed for him & he's been made to stay in unsuitable bed for the rest of his life (as he has no hoist to help him out of it).
