I am a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon working in Edinburgh, Council Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and current Chair of the College's Patient Safety Group. I am passionate about promoting patient safety in surgery by harnessing input from all members of the healthcare team as well as patients, carers and families.
