Summary
The author of this review argues that, while many of us benefit from advances and new technologies used in medical drug development, there is one group that has barely made any gains at all: pregnant women.
This review presents an overview of the current situation for this group, the issues and the available evidence; as well as exploring the barriers and options in better addressing pregnancy and maternal health.
