ECRI: Healthcare is a system (7 January 2025)

Summary

During this 20-minute, animated, video training, learn how understanding healthcare as a complex system will allow you to use that information to make your healthcare facility safer. Designed for every healthcare employee, you will learn the component parts of healthcare’s complex system and that, as those parts interact, challenges in one part of the system interact with and create hazards in other parts of the system. This training will demonstrate that no matter your role, you are an important part of your healthcare system, with the ability to influence safety through observation, reporting, and supporting a just culture.
