Summary
The Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) is a set of metrics that would requires NHS organisations to demonstrate progress against a number of indicators of race equality, including a specific indicator to address the low representation of black and minority ethnic (BME) staff on Boards.
NHS providers are expected to show progress against a number of indicators of workforce equality, including a specific indicator to address the low numbers of BME board members across the organisation.
