    This one day masterclass is part of a series of masterclasses focusing on how to use Human Factors in your workplace.
    Leadership in the NHS is the responsibility of all staff. Understanding human factors will allow healthcare to enhance performance, culture and organisation.
    These masterclasses have been designed to align with the new Patient Safety Syllabus and subsequent Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF). We will look at why things go wrong and how to implement change to prevent it from happening again or mitigate the risks.
    This masterclass will focus on non-technical skills to improve patient safety.

    This session is aimed at understanding what causes burnout, the impact and how to prevent/overcome it. Listening to stories from 2 Doctors and understanding the emotions, impact and consequence of burnout can help others look out for the signs and try to prevent it. Through talking and opening up, we hope to raise the awareness of burnout. It is real, can cause trauma and is linked to our wellbeing needs in the workplace.
    Guest speakers are:
    Dr Jess Morgan, Paediatrician Dr Chris Healey, Gastroenterologist Please join this session to learn from each other, listen and talk about wellbeing needs in the workplace. This is an open session to everyone, it will be healthcare based but is transferable. It is a free space and a social movement that has one agenda: To help staff flourish in the workplace.

    Last year, our helpline advisers dealt with an average of two calls a day relating to complaints – could the caller complain about what had happened? How to complain? Who to complain to? 
    This event is for patients and carers who would like answers to some basic questions about complaining about care. Solicitors Chris James and Josh Hughes from law firm Bolt Burdon Kemp will be joining our Chief Executive Rachel Power in this online event. 
    Between them they’ll: 
    Help people understand the NHS complaints process, including its limitations  Describe how to get the most out of making a complaint Explain were the distinction can lie between poor service and a claim in negligence. Register
