Patient Safety Learning Event by Quality and Patient Safety Team, Homerton University Hospital NHS

The Quality and Patient Safety team will be hosting a Patient Safety Learning Event in the Education Centre at Homerton Hospital. The event is free for staff and will be a great opportunity for staff from all bands, professions and specialties to get together to talk and learn and share ideas around improving patient safety. 

The event will be a mix of talks from internal and external speakers who will be presenting some of the latest ideas around safety, including human factors, safety 1 vs safety 2 and, most importantly, safety from the patient perspective. We will be showcasing some of the amazing work that has gone on at the Homerton over the past few years, and the event will culminate in the first Homerton Improving Patient Safety Awards.
