I'm a person of colour who has had #LongCovid for nearly five years.
I am dismayed at the total absence of Long Covid care or support for people of colour.
The entirety of the chronic illness community narrative is White.
We have to put up with racism in every sphere of our lives, including the Long Covid community. We have a greater struggle to be believed by health professionals.
None of the Long Covid charities or groups or the Long Covid Clinics offers anything distinctive for either people of colour or neurodivergent people.
That needs to change.
