I had my procedure done back in October last year to remove some Fibroids and place a coil to help with heavy bleeding due to Menopause. I was referred to a private clinic for speed and necessity has I had been heavy bleeding since May. My experience with the clinic was a nice and relaxed one. The procedure was simple I had LA and didn't feel much pain at all. I am now in January and feeling nothing but pain that does not go away with pain relief so I have stopped taking them till I get to see my GP. I never had period pain at all in my life to be fair and was not sure what to expect but this is so debilitating and I have felt some pain in my 54 year. Some days I can't eat, drink or even move and lately I have not been able to sleep. Today I am off work due to lack of sleep and the pain.
My pain tolerance is very high, I worked a night shift through kidney stone pain but this is taking its toll on me not just physically but mentally. My follow up appointment is next week, I have had no contact with the professor that did the procedure since he did it, this I think is a poor show, just because I am an NHS patient does not make me any less of a human
