I was diagnosed with mitral Valve regurgitation in November 2017 at an NHS Trust. I was admitted with Sepsis to another NHS Trust in November 2020, where a cardiologist advised me that my valve had been damaged as a result of untreated infective endocarditis in the same Trust in 2014. He recommended that I should have an immediate replacement or repair of the valve. I continued at Trust in Redhill as out patient until in June 2022 The consultant advised me that he would obtain a second opinion from cardiologist at Harefield NHS Trust. I chased for information on several occasion with no success.. In May 2023 I asked Harefield about the referral in June 2022. They advise they would look into it, and in September 2023 I found that the referal never happened and that indeed the cardiologist at Redhill had lied to me, repeatedly. . I have no transferred my cardiology care to Harelfield and am in the process of reporting the constant at Redhill to the G.M.C. for investigation
