I would also seriously contest their examples of racism- mispronouncing someone's name is not racism- I have colleagues who I like and value enormously- but I still get their names wrong. It called getting old.

So- according to google- there are 52,000 black and Asian medics in the UK+ 2 or 3,000 students. Just over 2,000 (about 3%) respond to an online survey on racism- presumably largely people who feel strongly about this issue and/or have been directly affected by it- so in no way a representative sample. Unsurprisingly, a chunk of these people have experienced racism- would you bother completing a survey like this if you hadn't? Why does anyone take this sort of flawed dishonest research seriously? It wouldn't matter so much but the grievance industry keeps churning these things out- similarly low quality research has recently come out about racism in the music industry and halls of university residence. My (mainly) black A Level students will already not consider a career in the police or armed forces because of fears of racism. Do the people who do this awful research want to put them off becoming medics too? Proper research wouldn't be based on a volunteer sample as it is obviously going to be biased.
