thanks - i hadn't seen the video before - ive found this paper Allen et al on AAR with Firefighters - measured safety climate in groups and organisational levels and frequency of AAR's - 'results indicated that frequency of after-action reviews positively related to both organizational- and group-level safety climates.' i am not sure of the replicability or the full transferability - they describe sense-making theory 'the findings suggest that holding after-action reviews strongly influences group-level safety climate' I also found a healthcare research proposal from the RCSI for last year (citing Allens et al s paper) - I'm going to get in touch with them.
