Training courses - Enhancing performance, improving care

Summary

The SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute for Patient Safety & Quality (IPSQ) based in Singapore has developed several training courses to improve the skills of healthcare workers in patient safety. The courses are part of the Academic Medicine – Enhancing Performance, Improving Care (AM-EPIC) Framework and cover six areas of competency:

1. Patient safety
2. Improvement sciences
3. Innovation and system design
4. Patient centeredness and advocacy
5. Clinical governance and risk
6. Staff resilience and care support
