Jenny talks about the challenge of keeping up with and prioritising new guidance and the need to streamline recommendations to ensure they are implemented efficiently. About the Author
Jenny has been a midwife for over 20 years and continues to practice in the NHS in her local maternity unit. Alongside her clinical work, Jenny has also worked in healthcare education and management posts within the NHS, before moving into independent healthcare in 2016. Jenny completed a PhD in 2015, which significantly helped her understanding of the complex social and gendered construction of our healthcare institutions. Jenny joined Patient Safety Learning charity as a Trustee in 2022.
