Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that occurs when the body’s response to an infection causes damage to its own tissues and organs. Early recognition and treatment are vital to save lives.

This 5 minute video, produced by Patient Safety Learning in collaboration with The UK Sepsis Trust, explains the sepsis risks that need to be considered in rural communities.
