Summary
In the UK over 1000 people with epilepsy die every year and it's estimated that more than half of these deaths could be avoided.
This is a free evidence-based tool, supporting clinicians in discussing risk with people with epilepsy. It includes risk factors linked to epilepsy mortality, including (but not restricted to) Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
