Workplace incivility is low level and often not intended to cause harm. It can come from managers, colleagues and patients.

Examples might include:

• eye rolling
• abrupt emails
• being interrupted, excluded or ignored
• hostile looks
• refusing to assist a colleague
• publicly criticising a colleague.
