These prompt cards were initiated in the Brighton and Sussex University Hospital Trust for the Emergency Department to ensure that safety measures are conducted everytime in high stress situations.

Content

Prompt cards can be used by all members of the Emergency Department Team. If used correctly they will improve patient safety and reduce human factor errors.

    It would be interesting to compare these with others that have been developed in other trusts. Is it possible to standardise or do they need to be locally developed?
