Summary
An examination of our local community hospital (2nd largest in the state of Maine) and a petition to hopefully spark discussion and change.
Setting and Context
A petition trying to deal with a culture of fear and silence which is becoming commonplace at many hospitals worldwide. When it comes to raising questions about the quality of care many healthcare workers are being removed from their positions.
Impact
The challenge in implementing this petition is apathy by the public at large.
Next Steps
Our ultimate goal is that enough online supporters pressure the media and eventually the hospital to address this situation.
