About the Author
David works in the leadership and organisational development team at The Kings Fund. He is a co-director of the Top Manager programme and the leadership development element of the Fund’s work to support third sector leaders. He is seconded part time as an adviser to the Sign up to Safety campaign to develop practical support to clinicians and managers in their work to keep their patients and service users safer.
Before joining the Fund, David worked as independent consultant and for Tavistock Consulting. He has worked as a third sector chief executive and in mental health and learning disability services.
David has a doctorate in professional studies with a research interest in how you support people to speak up, resist being silenced and to be ‘constructively awkward’.
