Summary
This letter, published by the BMJ, is written by a group of doctors affected by persisting symptoms of suspected or confirmed COVID-19. Their aim is to share their insights from both personal experience of the illness and their perspective as physicians.
In the letter they call for a number of principles to be used so that the best possible outcomes can be achieved for all people affected by persisting symptoms of COVID-19. These principles fall under three categories:
- Research and surveillance
- Clinical services
- Patient involvement
- Access to services.
