SEIPS in Action is a comprehensive course designed to equip healthcare professionals with practical skills in applying the Systems Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety (SEIPS) framework. Participants will gain hands-on experience in using SEIPS to enhance healthcare processes, supporting patient safety and system efficiency. This course combines theoretical coursework, an intensive live workshop, and extended mentoring to solidify learning and support real-world application.
Learner requirements
Learners must:
- have completed our flagship course ‘A systems approach to investigating and learning from patient safety incidents’ (or equivalent experience)
- be an investigator or have an active part in an investigation
- have manager sign-off for the time commitment.
Course dates
SEIPS in Action runs over two days, face-to-face, in Stratford, London:
Day 1: Monday 13 January 2025, 9am-4pm
Day 2: Tuesday 14 January 2025, 9am-4pm
