A webinar with the lead investigator into events that led to the increased neonatal mortality rate at the Countess of Chester.
The press has widely reported that Facere Melius was commissioned to investigate who knew what, where, and when. The report, titled 'Hidden in Plain Sight', was submitted to the public inquiry in November 2024. However, there is much learning for the wider NHS in the events at the Countess of Chester. Whilst the contents of the report remain confidential, there is some generic learning that can come from understanding the events and circumstances. This is an introductory webinar; a full developmental event can be booked by ICBs for their local system leaders or for healthcare providers' senior teams.
