Healthcare is one of the most significant contributors to greenhouse gas emissions and there are steps which healthcare professionals and organisations can and should be taking to tackle this issue. In 2020, the NHS set out a bold ambition to become the world’s first carbon net zero national health system by 2045.
The Safety For All campaign is hosting a webinar on the topic of sustainability where attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the Chair of the ABHI’s Sustainability Group and Chair of the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition. The webinar is free to attend and open to everyone with an interest in the importance of sustainability in healthcare.
