About me
I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and Director of Clinical Governance and Quality Assurance. My background in clinical practice was in nursing older people and dementia. I later worked with adults in community services experiencing mental illness. My interest in patient safety stems from practice: What we do and how we work with people makes a difference to safety, outcomes and experience. I am interested in cultures, in teams and organisations, and what inhibits and drives positive practice. In my role, I lead our clinical governance functions including patient safety.
