I hope that when Martha's rule is in use, that the relatives & patients will not be 'blamed' if in fact the patient is found to NOT have deteriorated! To family it can be such a relief just to feel heard and get some communication from the patient's medical team - maybe more so in the adult side of things!- Posted

Fragmented, confusing, with no clear focus. But what is missing to my eyes is the obvious - where is the body which looks at harm due to prescribed drugs? Prescribed drugs take a huge amount of the NHS budget, and are known to be the cause of illness and increased mortality. Yet, patients are still unable to draw attention to this beyond filling in a 'yellow card' and the action that results is minimal.- Posted
