This is highly insightful. Awareness and training of all professionals administering medications should be prioritised. Thorough handover of patients during transfers or shift change should also be facilitated to ensure that patients with Parkinson's are identified immediately. All wards (especially COTE) should have emergency critical medicines cupboard in case patients comes in when pharmacy is out of hour and patient did not come in with their own medicines. Also, adequate staffing!!! These are all the things I believe would help to reduce delayed or missed doses of Parkinson's medicines.
