I am passionate about patient safety and advocating for the patient across their entire healthcare journey. In a complex and ever-changing NHS, patients often move between different specialties, teams and areas of responsibility. My focus is on ensuring that the systems and processes connecting these services are effective, so that transitions in care do not create gaps or unnecessary risk. I strongly advocate for a whole-pathway approach to patient safety, where care is coordinated around the patient rather than organisational or professional boundaries.
