About me
Clinical background in both emergency nursing and midwifery with almost 30 years clinical experience in both disciplines. Involved in some research project mostly re maternity/neonates. Have been in several safety/risk/governance roles at NHS Trust level, moving later to a national role as a Maternity Investigator with the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB). I have a BSc Hons Degree in Midwifery, an MSc in Advanced Human Factors & Patient Safety, and am awaiting confirmation of EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) in Coaching Award.
