I was enforced to.have N ect/ est procedure don't in Oct 1999.
I have only recently found these documents and unfortunately, there is no.prep records no aftercare records.
And the ect machine used at the time had been use despite the flag warning of static impedance being over 3000. Stating >3000.
At 50 htz. For 2.20 sec and 0.9 cp duration of seizures 26 seconds with no cut off point... also Machi e did not log seziure endpoint etc...
I was unaware of this procedure to take place and after. It was hidden unfortunately. And I suffered horrific side effcets in which I became sectioned under severe mental behavioural illness.
I was 19 at the time.... and have never been the same. There was many suicide attempts all judged as my illness ND not medication or ect reasoning. I also had ect threatened whilst in icu/ itu after a suicide attempt. Barristers involved to retra t section3. Bit it seems Ect had already taken place.
I have conatcted
Gmc. ND OTGER to Report this still active Psychiatric doctor. Who now claims is against ect.
He hasa profile to hiw own wanting ans had apparently made the psychriatric london clinic. In harley st .
I have reported this to the police. And have had Little choice.
I would like a network of people that share similar experiences especially!rally and potentially feom 1999 when a loop hole became available for Ect treatment to take place mirebthen under the mental health act of 1983...
The machine used on me could be manually bypassed the safty netting of >3000 ohms. Which is how the seziures and shock treatment occured
