I am the Founder and Principal Consultant of Equiti Health Ltd, a specialist consultancy working at the intersection of digital health innovation and health equity. Equiti Health provides advisory and strategy support, from early-stage digital health start-ups to corporate health clients navigating complex digital and commercial strategies, and NHS organisations undertaking service transformation, cost reduction, and deploying new models of care. I have over 25 years of experience across the NHS and commercial healthcare, which has included senior roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance and US genomic medicine company NantHealth, I bring cross-sector perspective to how health systems adopt and govern technology.

In addition, I carry out my own research which centres on the safe and equitable implementation of technology in healthcare. I have developed a framework for digital health equity, the output of a realist review into digital health equity I carried out as part of my MSc in Global Public Health at Queen Mary University of London, to be published this year as a chapter in an Oxford University Press volume on digital health equity. I am also a contributing author on a University of Melbourne-led international scoping review, “Centering Equity During Health Technology Innovation: Scoping Review of Methods and Research Adjustments to Promote Inclusive Co-Production”, accepted for publication in JMIR and have recently completed a systematic narrative synthesis of over 400 peer-reviewed studies proposing a clinical competency framework for AI use in clinical settings. I also hold an MSc in Healthcare Management from the University of Salford. I peer review manuscripts for PLOS Digital health, serve on the NIHR Invention for Innovation Thrive Committee, enjoy mentoring students at London Business School and hold two Non-Executive Director roles.
