Hello, My name is Kate and I am currently in the third and final year of my Counselling Psychology Doctorate at The University of South Wales. As part of my training, I am required to undertake a research project. I have chosen to explore the experiences of those aged 65 and over who live with a partner who has depression. I am interested in hearing your story and experiences with the hope to help inform future care and service provision. This is a significantly under-researched area that I am passionate about giving older carers the opportunity to share their stories and experiences. I would like to hear from you if: You and your partner are both 65 and over Your partner has depression (Please note, this does not have to be professionally diagnosed) You are able to engage in a Microsoft Teams interview or attend The University of South Wales for an interview Your partner is currently not in hospital or a risk to themself, you or others. Please see the research advertisement for further information. This study has received full ethical approval from The University of South Wales. If you are interested, please follow the QR code on the poster or link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/7w9a2FbVdf to the participant information sheet and consent form. Please do not hesitate to reach me via email if you encounter any problems or if you have any questions related to the study. Thank-you for taking the time to read this. Kind regards, Kate
