About me
I have an engineering background combined with education and training including organisational development, safety leadership, human factors, behavioural safety and simulation. I joined healthcare after early retirement from the energy & utility sector.

I am keen to promote healthcare learning from other safety critical industries, and use my own lived experience of the energy and utility sector which has been applying 'system safety' since Chernobyl and Piper Alpha and continues to maintain an impressive safety record.
