Trust admits to harming 200 patients

Almost 200 patients suffered harm after a major teaching trust failed to manage its neurological waiting lists effectively, Health Service Journal has discovered. 

A total of 195 multiple sclerosis patients were affected at University Hospitals Birmingham Foundation Trust after missing appointments and opportunities to start treatment, documents obtained by Health Service Journal under the Freedom of Information Act show.

Securing the information from the trust took more than six months.
