Summary
Perioperative care must evolve from reactive models toward predictive, personalised, and proactive paradigms. Leveraging technologies such as AI, wearable sensors, and closed‐loop systems, alongside a strong safety culture, could improve outcomes, reduce complications, reduce burden on clinicians and better align care with patient needs.
