Summary
Parents know better than anyone if their child is not behaving as they usually do or seem different in some way. Studies have shown that caregivers are often the first people to spot changes in the health of their child, even when in a clinical environment. You should feel able to raise any concerns if you think something is ‘just not right’ with your child.
Great Ormond Street Hospital has produced guidance on what to look out for and how to raise a concern if you are worried about your child when in hospital.
