Summary
The report from the International Labour Organization describes the results of a special analysis of data from the Labour Force Surveys (LFS) of 56 countries which provided data about health and social care workers in sufficient detail to distinguish between different occupational groups within the workforce. The report covers analyses for 29 countries in Europe and 27 from other regions of the world.
This analysis can help to highlight specific occupation groups and countries which are at heightened risk of decent work deficits and demographic imbalances.
