The purpose of the NHS England and NHS Improvement's Safety Culture Implementation group (SCIG) is to support and enable NHS organisations to improve their safety culture, in support of the The NHS Patient Safety Strategy, through embedding a continuous cycle of understanding the issue, developing a plan, delivering the plan and evaluating the outcome.
