Maternal Care Bundle - Launch Webinar

Donald Peebles, National Clinical Director for Maternity, and Kate Brintworth, Chief Midwifery Officer for England, invite you to a launch webinar for The Maternal Care Bundle on 10 February 2026.

NHS England has been working with national stakeholders, frontline clinicians and service users on a Maternal Care Bundle which seeks to establish a baseline of best practice to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, with 5 elements covering key clinical areas.

1. Venous thromboembolism (VTE)
2. Pre-hospital and acute care
3. Epilepsy in pregnancy
4. Maternal mental health
5. Obstetric haemorrhage

This webinar will give an overview of the maternal care bundle and how it has been developed. There will be an opportunity for Q&A following the presentations.
