Event details
This virtual session will explore how countries are advancing institutionalised youth engagement in health systems, highlighting legal, policy, and budgeting frameworks that embed young people in decision-making processes. Through concrete country examples and youth-led reflections, the session will examine enabling factors, challenges, and actionable recommendations to strengthen meaningful youth participation in health governance.
Hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and National Health Commission Office of Thailand (NHCO Thailand), the webinar is organised with the support of the WHO Youth Council and the Civil Society Engagement Mechanism of UHC2030 (CSEM).
This is the second event in the Global Webinar Series on Social Participation, launched by the Core Group of Member States — Brazil, France, Norway, Slovenia, Thailand and Tunisia — together with WHO, UHC2030, CSEM, the WHO Civil Society Commission, and the WHO Youth Council.
The series aims to support implementation of the World Health Assembly Resolution on Social Participation for UHC, Health and Well-being.
