Patient Partnership Week: Championing patient voices in healthcare campaigns

 until

Event details

Real stories, real impact. This session will explore how putting patient voices at the heart of healthcare campaigns leads to stronger messaging, better engagement, and meaningful change. Whether shaping a national awareness drive or a community-led initiative, hearing directly from patients helps ensure campaigns reflect real experiences and reach those too often left behind.

We'll hear from campaigners, communications professionals, and patients themselves about what it means to co-create campaigns that are truly inclusive and effective. Speakers will share lessons learned from a range of initiatives, including CORE (Community, Offer, Respect, Ease) a strategic model co-created by The Weber Shandwick Collective with patients to ensure health communication improves health equity.

Speakers include:

  • Aurora Todisco, patient advocate,
  • Rachael Pay, Managing Director, Weber Shandwick,
  • John James, Chief Executive, Sickle Cell Society,
  • Sarah Tilsed, Head of Partnerships and Involvement, the Patients Association.

This session is for anyone who wants to create campaigns that do more than raise awareness and instead shift power. Join us to learn how championing patient voices can drive real, lasting improvements in healthcare.
