Patient flow: finding solutions to recurring challenges

The challenges facing accident and emergency departments are well known, and impact both staff and service delivery. The pressures of meeting targets and providing good care for patients while maintaining clinical standards often result in departments operating in ‘crisis mode’.

At this event at The King’s Fund on 11 March 2020 you will hear how improving patient flow is essential to overcoming these challenges. You’ll hear from national experts, dedicated clinicians, operations managers and others to explore real examples that offer promising answers to long-standing flow challenges.

At the event you’ll hear interesting debates, from both those working on the ground and policy and system experts. You will have the opportunity to take part in workshops led by multidisciplinary teams from NHS Trusts, who will showcase best practice examples, showing you how to implement solutions step by step.
