This online session will explore the purpose of clinical audit and then compare and contrast this with the key principles of a quality improvement approach.
With this foundation we’ll then discuss how these approaches are complementary as part of a holistic approach to improving quality of health and care.
Some NHS organisations are already on a journey to a more integrated approach to clinical audit and quality improvement, and we hear about the journey underway at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It would be great to hear about your journeys with clinical audit and quality improvement too.
