The upcoming PHIN 2025 Quality Forum will focus on ‘Essential Intelligence (EI) – equipping patients with vital information for optimum health outcomes’.
Following the success of our previous Quality Forums, where we explored the impact of high-performance data, AI and technology on patient care, we are eager to continue fostering discussions that drive innovation and improvements in the healthcare industry.
More details will follow about the 2025 event, but we are lining up an array of top level speakers who will help identify and expand our understanding of essential information and how the sector can work together to make it more accessible to patients.

The King's Fund is pleased to invite you to their moving care closer to home event in October.
For years there has been an ambition to move care closer to home – now it’s time to make it a reality. This timely event, now in its second year, moves beyond local implementation to ask a critical question: what will it take to scale community-based care across the entire health and care system?
It will bring together policy leaders, operational managers, innovators and practitioners to tackle the entrenched challenges, such as workforce, funding and infrastructure, and to spotlight the real-world innovations already changing care delivery.
This in-person event is a perfect opportunity for you to connect with key stakeholders from across the system and clarify the role you can play in making care closer to home a reality.

With the opportunities for artificial intelligence in health care expanding and new technologies igniting political and media debate, the drive to understand how to effectively and responsibly implement AI in the NHS continues unabated.
At our AI event in July 2024, we called for the development of a dedicated strategy for AI in health care. Senior leaders including Karin Smyth MP, Minister of State for Health with responsibility for NHS data and technology, set out their vision for the strategic direction of AI in the NHS.
At our 2025 event, we’ll hear international perspectives on how to capitalise on AI in healthcare and navigate the challenges of effectively implementing the technology. With the government’s NHS AI strategic roadmap due this autumn, we’ll consider what the UK can learn from these experiences. We’ll also explore our ability to evaluate new uses of AI, determine whether they are safe and effective, and understand what will matter for adopting them at scale – critical steps for spreading AI across the NHS. Join stakeholders from across the NHS, government, tech industry, investors, academia and the charity sector who are leading the strategic direction, development and implementation of AI and technology in health care.
