The session will focus on the patient experience of Long Covid and will talk about what people with the illness would like from healthcare.
It will then look at what we know so far in terms of support plans.
The workshop will be presented by Margaret O’Hara, a research professional in the NHS who has Long Covid and Dr Elaine Maxwell, a former Scientific Advisor to the National Institute for Health Research.
Margaret runs a Facebook page to promote involvement, participation and engagement in Covid research and is a founding Trustee of the charity Long Covid Support, while Dr Maxwell has authored two dynamic reviews on Long Covid and is a Trustee of Long Covid Support.
