Its aim is to support delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan’s ambition for quality in the NHS, while encouraging high quality care for all across all of health, public health and social care. The NQB will focus on improving quality and reducing inequalities through six key means: supporting system transformation, digital transformation, research and innovation, support for the health and social care workforce, patient safety and improving population health and health inequalities.
