Summary
The Centre for Perioperative Care Board (CPOC) is looking for a patient representative to join its board.
The role would suit someone who is familiar with the healthcare system and likes working in partnership.
CPOC is led by the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Its goal is to improve patients' perioperative care. Perioperative care is the care of patients from the moment surgery is considered through to full recovery and involves a mixed group of health professionals.
Good perioperative care should improve patient experience of care, a patient's ability to return to home/work, and quality of life.
The patient representative ensures the public voice is heard by the CPOC. If you're interested, click the link in the button below for more details about the role and how to apply.
