Summary
In October 2019 the Patient Information Forum (PIF) surveyed information producers to see how they were meeting the health and digital literacy needs of users. It found that 13% of organisations had a health literacy policy in place and 50% assessed the equalities impact of digital projects.
Health inequalities, digital exclusion and the need for clear evidence-based, accessible information were highlighted during the Covid-19 crisis. Now, three years on, PIF is repeating its 2019 survey to see what has changed and whether members have responded to the call to become health and digital literacy friendly organisations.
The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete and the closing date is 31 October 2022.
