DESCRIPTION:\n\n	The Deteriorating Patient Summit focuses on recognising
	 and responding to the deteriorating patient through improving the reliabi
	lity of patient observations and ensuring quality of care. The conference 
	will include National De­velopments including implementing the recommenda
	tions from the May 2019 Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch Report Inve
	stigation into recognising and responding to critically unwell patients  
	and case studies highlighting the effective implementation of NEWS2 – th
	e recently updated National Early Warning Score.\n\n\n\n	The conference co
	ntinues with a practical case study based sessions on identifying patients
	 at risk of deterioration\, improving practice in patient observations\, r
	esponding to the deteriorating patient\, and improving the communication a
	nd use of NEWS2 in the community and at the interface of care. Extended se
	ssions will focus on identification of deterioration and improving the res
